Riders from across the region joined up with many of Doncaster Wheelers’ members to take part in the club’s annual Midsummer Ride, this year dubbed Charlie’s Challenge.

In memory of one of the club’s most popular members and characters, Ian Hindley (fondly known to many as Charlie or Scoopster), a large group of cyclists set off from The Cumberland in Doncaster in 3 different groups, with the longest route heading over the Humber Bridge and back.

This year, the group raised money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and set off in sunny conditions to enjoy the ride and get chance to both socialise and remember Charlie.
